I am a big football/soccer fan. I love soccer and football and I know there are thousands upon thousands of people just like me.

Two weeks back, I received an electronic mail from a friend. He texted me and told me that I needed to log in to my email so you can review what I sent. I did as he instructed and in 3 minutes I was the best football fan I had ever seen. I had found online live soccer/football for absolutely zero cost.

I was so excited. It was something I couldn’t wait to share with my Dad. Problem was, my Dad is new to computers and internet. He has been using the internet for almost a year. However, he just upgraded to broadband. Due to other commitments, I was not able to visit him. But, I wanted my discovery to help me get him up-and-running.

1. My mum could easily watch her soaps, and then give her the remote control. Perhaps that is a bit extreme, but it’s possible!

I could only give him access to this wonderful online offer by writing an installation guide. It would include screenshots and instructions that would take him through every step. While it was more time-consuming than I anticipated, the end justifies the means.

I was thrilled. Before I sent it off to my Dad, I had another opinion. I brought a printed copy, along with my beautiful, colorful guide, to the next door. As my neighbour’s spouse sipped a cup, I sat down in the kitchen and enjoyed a cup. My husband was logged on to his computer and followed my instructions. He took about five minutes, but “SUCCESS!” was achieved and he was equally happy as I was.

I was quick to give myself a pat on the back. But, the big test was still ahead. I emailed a copy of the email to my dad. I called my dad and explained to him what I had just sent. He printed off his copy. I sat down at the other side of the phone and had a copy on my screen.

I was so happy. I was so happy that he finished in 15 minutes. It was Friday, February 17th. We were watching Chelsea v Norwich FAcup 5th round match Live on our PC’s. Sorry, but he was “overthe moon”. I was a happy chappy, too. !
