Manhattan is now one of the most populated and smart places in the United States I ’ve ever visited. It’s a megacity of extreme contrasts, where different societies combine and the rearmost technology is inversely important as once constructions are.
I had the chance to visit this magnific megacity in September 2019 with my hubby to stink the culture, eat, bear and do what New Yorkers do.
Our budget was a little bit tight but we still wanted to travel to Manhattan.
We plant out there are several places to visit without outlaying any buck from our portmanteau.
Manhattan is well- known for being a expensive sightseer destination, especially for nonnatives.
Still, we managed to make the utmost of it.
Manhattan’s Free Lodestones
Grand Central Station
As we were in Midtown Manhattan we decided to visit the magnific Grand Central Station which is characterized by its distinctive armature and interior design.
Before leaving the station we made a stop at the lower- position hall where there are food merchandisers, restrooms, and a variety of stores.
Coming to them, there’s a “ bruiting gallery” where whispers can be heard from one column to the other in the hall.
NYC Public library
While being in Manhattan I could n’t help recalling the movie The day after hereafter. Our coming must-have-to- do visit was the Public library which is three blocks from Grand Central.
The library is free- access and we were allowed to take a skulk peep to every room unless there was a private conference. For a short break, we made a stop at Bryant Park attached to the library where there are theater tables and chairpersons of public operation.
